CSM Academy observed 2026’s Earth Day with the most unexpected twist...

We switched off all the lights and used candles… which triggered the fire alarm.

We told staff not to use any water… and the janitor fled after seeing the toilet.

We switched off the air-conditioning and enjoyed a full sauna experience in Singapore’s scorching heat and humidity.

We asked everyone to save electricity… so they switched off their laptops and went out for coffee.

We tried asking everyone to return to office… but all their phones were switched off to conserve energy.

But on a serious note: if we truly care about future generations, we should make every day Earth Day through simple daily choices — reducing waste, conserving energy, and caring for our shared environment.
